Designed in the Wisconsin Avenue showroom and installed by the VKB crew. It started as a free 3D design, and the finished room is the one that was drawn.
The closed, dark-stained kitchen was opened to the dining room and rebuilt around a custom wood island with turned legs under a white quartz top. Soft grey painted shaker cabinetry runs the perimeter with a herringbone tile backsplash, a professional range under a wall-mounted hood, double wall ovens, and a panel-front refrigerator that disappears into the cabinet line.

How a project runs
Construction itself typically takes 3 to 6 weeks. The work that protects that schedule happens earlier: design decisions locked before ordering, long-lead materials in hand, and permits issued before demolition.

Your room takes shape in a free 3D design while you pick cabinets, countertops, and tile and flooring at the Wisconsin Ave showroom. The itemized quote is approved at the end of this stage.
Cabinet orders and long-lead materials go in, and we determine which approvals your scope requires, coordinating Montgomery County DPS permits, WSSC plumbing permits, and licensed trade applications. Construction is scheduled once permits are issued.
Demolition, rough-in, inspections, cabinets, counters, tile, and finish work, coordinated by one VKB project team and its licensed trade professionals, with one contact keeping you current.
We hand over the finished room, walk every detail with you, and workmanship is covered for two years alongside the manufacturers’ product warranties.
